Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add multiple tax rates?
Yes. Add as many tax rows as needed with custom labels and percentages — e.g. a 5% state sales tax and a 2% city tax on the same invoice.
Does the tax apply before or after the discount?
Tax is calculated on the post-discount subtotal. If you need pre-discount tax, use the Fixed discount type and apply it manually to the total.
Can I show tax-exclusive and tax-inclusive prices?
Line items are entered as tax-exclusive (net). Taxes are shown as separate rows in the totals block, and the final Total is tax-inclusive.
